Admissions

 

Grade Point Averages Your academic strength and breadth carry significant weight in our application evaluation process. In order to be considered for admission, your overall cumulative GPA and prerequisite GPA must each be a 3.0 or higher at the time of application.

Prerequisite Coursework And Requirements Students must complete all prerequisite courses prior to enrollment with a “C” grade or higher. All science courses must be intended for pre-professional or science majors and should include a laboratory component.

Interview Days Based on your application responses, you may be invited for a required interview. This gives you the opportunity to learn more about what our program has to offer you as a student. During the interview, consideration is given to knowledge of the profession, motivation toward a career in physical therapy, the ability to think clearly and logically, self-awareness, and verbal expression of ideas.

Getting Ready The Admissions Committee uses a holistic review process in considering applicants for admission, including factors such as:

How to Apply Our application opens June 15th and our deadline is set for November 1st. However, it is recommended applicants submit their application by September 15th. Criminal Background Check   Upon acceptance and prior to matriculation, students will undergo a criminal background check, at their own expense. A criminal background check is a condition of matriculation into the program.
